ARTWORK COMMISSION – Murrumbidgee Local Health District
Today I’m sharing the artwork I was commissioned to paint a few years ago for the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
This artwork is one of my Wiradjuri River People pieces, and I love how it turned out. It’s a bright and happy piece that is an acrylic artwork on canvas.
I work with a great team who is able to then take this image to transfer onto vinyl to cover huge spaces.
This artwork has been used by the MLHD to brighten up the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital walls in one of their wards, as well as on the airlock entry to the entrance of the hospital near the cafe.

MURAL AT COOLAMON CENTRAL SCHOOL
Today I’m sharing the mural I painted to go on this outdoor space at Coolamon Central School.
This piece was painted onto special board that had been custom cut by the team at RG Plastics.
I then painted the artwork off-site in my studio, and the RG Plastics team installed it into the space as you can see in the photo.
This artwork really looks great and turned what was a drab spot right in a high-traffic area into a bright focal point.

headspace Griffith Youth Art – School Holiday Workshops
I ran two school holiday youth art workshops in Griffith for the team at headspace during the winter school holidays.
The young people all painted their own canvases that featured animals painted in traditional dot style.
The feedback about these workshops was great, everyone enjoyed creating their own piece of artwork.

NAIDOC ART EXHIBITION - “EMBERS” at Lendlease Sydney
I am trilled to share that I have an artwork featured in the NAIDOC week exhibition at Lendlease, Two International Towers, 200 Barangaroo Avenue, Barangaroo. The exhibition runs from July 8-12 and is available for viewing between 9am and 5pm each day.
My artwork is a new “Kangaroo Picking” piece, this is the first non-commission original artwork I have made available for sale for a while.
The Embers Exhibition has been developed by the Little Rocket agency and Lendlease to celebrate First Nations artists as part of the NAIDOC Week 2024 “Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud”.
Exhibitions of First Nations Artworks in the Embers exhibition is also being displayed in Melbourne.
There is also a digital showcase where an image of another of my “Kangaroo Picking” artworks was featured.
